Choose the Right Dry Type Transformer Types
Huasheng offers the SCBH & SCB dry-type transformer series. SCB is a Chinese model designation. Your projects should start with the electrical system and installation conditions. Just tell us the specifications you need.
Required Capacity
The required capacity depends on the connected load, demand factor, power factor and future expansion. Correct capacity sizing helps prevent overload.
Input and Output Voltage
Huasheng can produce dry-type transformers for 6kV, 10kV, 20kV, 22kV, 24kV and 35kV systems. The secondary voltage is set to the equipment or distribution network.
Frequency and Vector Group
Confirm vector group, earthing method , and tap range with Huasheng. Ensure your project is smooth.
Core and Winding
Select a CRGO silicon-steel core for standard distribution. If the project requires energy savings, you can choose amorphous-alloy core.
Cooling and Enclosure
AN natural-air cooling has no cooling fan dependency. AF forced-air cooling can provide additional cooling when included in the design. The enclosure is made of insulating material.
Installation Conditions
Tell us the ambient temperature, altitude, humidity, dust level and available ventilation. This helps prevent overheating, enclosure changes and installation delays.

10kV Dry-Type Transformer
SCB10, SCB11, SCB12, SCB13, SCB14 and SCB18 are Huasheng’s main 10kV-class models. These three phase dry type transformers is ideal for factories, commercial buildings, public facilities and indoor substations.

This medium voltage dry type transformer is made for 20kV, 22kV and 24kV distribution systems. Dry-type, oil-free structures do not require an oil tank. Usually, used in site of fire resistance or explosion protection.

35kV-class Off-Circuit Tap Changing (OCTC) Distribution Transformer. High-efficiency, low-loss core design for ultra-low losses and maximum cost savings.

SCBH15 Amorphous Alloy Dry Type Transformer
The SCBH15 combines cast resin insulation with an amorphous-alloy core. The no-load loss is reduced by 70%-80% compared to the value specified in GB/T10228. Reduce operating costs.
